Yes, it's actually true. This 31st August 2009 will be the 52nd Merdeka Day. Do you know it was quite a long time since we had ourselves the freedom???
We hope all the pupils will understand the true meaning of independence for our country. Although we had been invaded by multiple invaders, but that did not mean that we should hide under the blanket. We have our own voice, our own dignity and that was how we get our independence from the British. Thanks a lot to our first Prime Minister, Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj and his friends who had make this come true.
And by this, we hope that you can celebrate the National Day proudly although it is Ramadhan. We hope all the pupils not only Muslim, but also others (Buddha, Hindu, Kristian etc,.) to pray and give your gratefulness during your prayer. Hopefully this harmony and independence will last forever.
